That's why when our system goes over the edge, it will be a surprise to the ones who don`t understand exponential math , but not to the ones who do.
Yes our debt/money system is going to collapse, and yes we are on an exponential curve that will end in a collapse of our Price System , probably due to a lack of oil.
Technocracy offers what it apparently the only logical , and life affirming and enhancing alternative for us as a culture.
How is technocracy going to become widespread? How many members are there? I think it's based in Washington.
That's right Brandon. It has always been a domain of the intellectual/science community.
Because it conforms with the reality of the situation, that is its great strength. It also is equal parts secular/humanistic as it is Science.
Any human culture is an abstraction including technocracy. Technocracy does not exist as a discovered element of science. Technocracy use`s science as an administer of its social proposal.
It is an attempt , perhaps the best attempt for man to create a free, vital , and life enhancing society.
It is not pure science, but it use`s that.
Science, as art, poetry, and yes even some forms of spiritual thought, are attempts to build a little sense of meaning and purpose into the nest of our ego`s that we construct within ourselves.
In a sense they are all the same begging hand for meaning, that we outstretch.
The most important thing you can do is probably to post the Study Course on your site. Download a file from technocracynow.org - Capture the file as your own copy and post it independently of my site.
The fact that you are having technocracy meetings is also very important. Contact the official group out there at www.technocracyinc.org , and ask for instructions on starting a section. That means a group of 50 people. A group of 5 people is fine for starting. Read chapters in the study course, and discuss strategy for gaining new members.
Currently, my group is just electronic. I've thought about starting a group with a more physical reality but I haven't found many people yet. I might start out with a fundraising group for lifeboat.com.
