Kinda of a dumb way to think about it. It doesn`t take a couple of million dollars or a couple of cents to figure this thing out. The Technocracy movement came out with a complete program to start a different type of culture , that leaves behind many of the issues that people think are important now.
Our system use`s energy accounting instead of money. Energy is a real thing, money not.
Using money to try to solve these problems is pointless, and actually is a major , the major part of the problem.
As a citizen in a Technate you would receive an energy debit card. This card would entitle you to full consuming rights. Population and resources, and demand would be balanced to insure we do not abuse our environment. The focus would change completely. People would no longer profit from environmental destruction to make money.
